Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Payoff Logic ("we," "us") collects when you visit this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: our calculators run entirely in your browser, we never see the numbers you enter, and we collect as little as possible.

1. Calculator inputs

The values you type into our calculators (loan amounts, interest rates, home prices, debts, and so on) are processed locally in your browser. They are not transmitted to, stored on, or logged by our servers. If you use a "share" link, your inputs are encoded into the URL itself — only share that link with people you trust to see those numbers.

2. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and how the site performs. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track you across sites. It shows us anonymous, aggregate counts only.

3. Advertising

To keep the calculators free, we may display advertising served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. When advertising is active on the site:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

Advertisers never receive the values you enter into our calculators.

4. Information you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you, and we do not add you to any mailing list or share your address with third parties.

5. Cookies

The site itself does not set cookies for its core functionality. Any cookies present come from the third-party advertising described in Section 3 once advertising is active. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

6. Children's privacy

This site is directed at a general adult audience and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data security & retention

Because calculator inputs never leave your browser, there is no calculator data for us to secure or retain. Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy — for example, when advertising goes live — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
